Men Do Cry

Real men
Have the strength to be weak
To break down and weep
To honestly feel
Without fear
Of a tear

But men are afraid
To have their feelings betrayed
They wish them kept secret
In the bosom of trust

Men need protection
From pain and rejection
And will build up walls
To subvert a threat

In every respect
In love or neglect
A man will remember
Whether cruel or tender
The time you made him regret
