Dark Journey Around The Sun

Some days are harder than others
You understand this more than most
The challenge of gathering each piece of your parcel
For yet another dark journey around the sun
Each step a task not to melt into puddles
You judge your days in forecasts of clouds and rain
Wading in the bottom of a well
That’s never quite dry
You wish for someone to let down their bucket
Scoop you up and help you home.
